Dr. Sumade Kongchatree

DVM

Dr.K graduated from Kasetsart University Bangkok Thailand with his DVM degree granted in 2002. After that, long distance education with the University of Sydney Australia, between 2005 and 2017, was suitable for his interests, duties and postgraduate studies. In 2013, Dr. K went to Canada for his Comprehensive Training VSTEP program with Guelph University. In 2013, 2014, and 2015, NAVLE, ECFVG certificate, and New York License were successfully achieved, respectively. His Texas License was first active in 2015, the California License was granted in 2016, and the Washington License has been active since 2016. For his continuing education, Dr. K is currently studying a distance education of General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Medicine, Postgraduate Certificate in Small animal Medicine, and Small Animal Oncology with ISVPS and Harper Adams University. His next level of care for the patients is pursuing ABVP (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Canine and Feline Practice).

Dr. K has loved animals since he was 8 years old and knew that he wanted to be a veterinarian when his neighbor inspired him as he was one himself. Dr. K was interested in everything from insects to dogs growing up and was surrounded by animals. His experience has led him here to help the community while being able to really get to know his patients and their owners. 

Marissa H

Chief of Staff

Marissa has came back to join us again at ASVC. She loves watching movies, drinking coffee, and spending time with her sweet cat Sullivan. He loves to snuggle and play fetch. She loves all the kitties that come in. We are so happy she is back on our team.

Weerawon O

Practice Manager

Wee has graduated with a Veterinary License in Thailand. She loves to travel and moved to Australia for a few years for school and for fun! She has been a practice manager since she graduated and loves to plant trees and vegetables. She had a teacup Yorkie that lived to be 20 years old and recently passed two years ago. Now she has gotten a new teacup Yorkie named King. King has the personality of a big dog, of course.

Shift Lead

Jennifer graduated from the University of Hawaii Manoa and her love for pet has taken off since she started working here. She has a cat named Layla, who is her first pet ever and loves being able to see all the cats that come in here. She is always on the move and loves to take care of her houseplants. ​

Veterinary Assistant

Tiana loves animals. She has been working with animals for as long as she knows and has a lot herself! She loves dogs, cats, guinea pigs, snakes, frogs, camels and more! She is a great addition to our team with her knowledge and skills. ​

Sachol, (AKA Oei) loves to watch movies and hang out with her dog, Gypsy. She also like to cook a lot of great Thai foods that she shares with all of us at work! Oei is a traveler and loves being outdoors while hanging with her family. She loves to grown vegetables and cook as well.
